this is Adeline

I’m a UX/UI designer based in Hong Kong guided by curiosity, community building and a heart for the younger generation. I use my design and problem solving skills to put a smile on people’s faces

My vision currently as a UX designer is to empower the next generation of users to reach their full potential

Where it all started

Brewing that perfect cup of coffee
Before design, I went from customer success at a Coding School for kids, to pitching restaurants to join UberEats, to analysing financial data at a US Corporate

Out of these experiences, I developed my passion for: 

Empathising with clients
Negotiation skills
Problem solving
Attention to details

These skills and passions have led me to creative problem solving as a UX/UI designer

Craziest thing I've done
My team and I insist on following our original hiking path despite there being a forest fire in front of us. Why? Because we wanted to complete our hiking expedition so badly.

Well, I’m still alive…because we soon realised it was a crazy idea and decided to run for our lives in the opposite direction with a 20kg rucksack on our backs!
Love to create things
I love gifting kids and friends with cards that I create and design from scratch especially during Christmas!

My caffeine outside of work
Outside of work I enjoy volunteering and teaching kids on Sundays. I also enjoy team sports such as netball and dragonboat

Proudest Moment
When I brought my dad to the Buckingham Palace to attend the Duke of Edinburgh Award ceremony in UK!
Wide range of dream jobs
As a kid, I wanted to be a waitress somehow…then it went from fashion designer, baker, to barista and now UX designer!
Beauty of nature
I also love, like really love going for sunrise runs and taking pictures of the sunset
